A new year , a new start to my blog ;)

One of the exciting event this year is that i am finally going to school ! K1 this year .
I am very ready for school eagerly looking forward to it ..
Mummy is very excited for me too , while daddy seems more calm & normal .. heehee
Anyway , its the beginning of my school life ..
Like what aunty Shirley proclaim , it shall be a great & happy K1 year ahead for Jireh & me ! =)

Did not take much pics except on my parent's iphone cos mummy's camera was spoilt on my first day of school , Gosh !!

Daddy mummy & ambrose accompany me to school for the first 2 days ..
Overall till now , my parents are pretty satisfield with my school & i enjoy going to school too ;)
Mummy specially like the daily praise & worship session , the computer lesson & those impressive play & learn equipments made by the teachers ..

A day before the first day of school , Jireh taimey ambrose & me had a blast at Gymboreee ! =)

I choose & daddy bought this cake for mummy ;)
I saw the 2 toy car & said that 1 for ambrose , & 1 for me .
Toys on a cake can really attracts small kids ! haahaa ;P

Anyway , it was a surprise cake for mummy . We had a simple celebration at home .
I got mummy a flower & bear too .

Cake & gifts does not really matter .
Most importantly , mummy wanna thank God for 2 healthy beautiful kids ! Ambrose & me ('',)

4 years ago , mummy created this blog .
The first post & pic was when i was 1 month old . Times really flies ...
When mummy read back this blog from the begining , beautiful memories flashed back & it's really so enjoyable ;)
Last few months , this blog had been quite stagnant . Busy busy tired !
Now , mummy decided to try her best to maintain & update it .
All thanks to aunty Shirley who has been encouraging mummy to do so for memorial sake =)

Although its not grandma's day , it's my personal gift for ah-ma . heehee ;)

Uncle Stanley just returned from Denver & bought us gifts too ..

Ambrose 1st bus ride

Finally , mummy decided to give it a try with just her bringing ambrose & me & a pram to board a bus .
Thank God it's still manageable !
Those new bus without the muliple steps are really pram friendly . & it's always not crowded in the bus during weekday afternoon .
All these while ever since ambrose was born , we always took a cab . Now , we can save on our transportation cost ;) hoohoo

As for me , it had been so long since i last ride on a bus & i simply enjoyed it too =)
& for the next few weeks whenever mummy bring us out , my choice of transport is of course - Bus ! haahaa

Ambrose first time playing in Explorer Kidz .
Not his first time here but before he know how to crawl , he's always been carried by mummy whenever we came ...

Now that he can crawl , it's so much fun for him ;)

My dad is indeed really 'on' when it come to play =)
He will play together with me climbing up & down this mega play area ..
It's really tiring & not easy especially for someone his size to bend & climb this playground .. but still he did it !
Out of love to play & have fun together with me ('',)

And at this 'forest' here , we always play hide-&-seek .
Beside running , daddy will also go down on his four to crawl around together with me ...

At 9 months old , ambrose had his very 1st try in the pool .
It was at my art Teacher's Condo pool . Ambrose & taimey went for a dip while Jireh & i were having our art lesson .

Special thanks to my Xiaoyi for blessing ambrose with this nice bright beach boy swim wear ;)

Upon reaching the pool , they looked quite blur ! or maybe it's more of a curious look ..
'A GIANT bath tub !' they must have thought .. =)

Auntie Shirley carried taimey into the water first & ... not long after ambrose saw taimey's reaction in the water ...

At 8 months old , ambrose had his 1st haircut .
And daddy is the one who cut for him =)

Mummy tried to keep him occupy with toys , but still it was quite challenging as he keep moving his head ..

Okie , thank God the end result is not that bad .

& hopefully there will not be so many 'look like girl' comment liao ! haahaa ;P

April - The missing Elephant !

On 1st April morning , mummy & i waited eagerly for the postman to come =)
.... Finally , he arrived & i got a mail ! It's a parcel in a square box ..

African elephant , there you are !

I was so happy to see it again .
Mummy feel that all was so worth it seeing the joyful smile in me ;)

There was a long story behind this toy elephant .
This is roughly how the story goes ..

This elephant is one of my favourite toy . I have a habit of always bringing out some of my toy together with me .
One fine day , my elephant was lost in a supermarket ! OMG !!
We realised it's missing only at night during my bedtime & i cried so sadly for it saying i miss my elephant !! (>.<)
For the next few days , it was really happening between mummy & this supermarket !!
Whenever the phone ring , the staff there must be praying hard that it's not this persistent weird lady looking for her elephant again ! heehee ;)

Anyway , all that mummy want was just to get back my elephant but in the end , they failed to find it .. haiz , sad .
During this period , mummy want to pacify me & so she told me that my elephant went back to Africa to visit all his friends .. & will be back soon !
Yes , will be back from holiday soon !

When there's no good news from the supermarket , mummy know that she have to , & want to make my elephant 'return from his holiday !'
But the problem is tat the only shop selling this elephant already no longer carry in this brand of toy . Can't find this elephant anywhere in Singapore now ! Gosh ...
Mummy had no choice but to went online & buy it . She managed to find it at Amazon . The cost + shipping charges is really costly !
But still , mummy feel that it was all worth it =)

When mummy posted this March 2010 , it's now already June ..
Busy busy tired ! Mummy is really too tired + busy + lazy to update recently .. she wonder if she will still maintain this blog ..
Anyway , March is a very happening month ! And so , she want to note down all these before she forget =D

He's getting all excited !

Ok , it's me walking my dog around the house ;P
& my brother is trying to catch it ! hoohoo

My very playful brother whom i loves so much ('',)

Kisses & hugs are commonly seen =D

I like to eat together with ambrose , sometimes i will request to eat his food =P
I like to drink milk together with ambrose & challenge to see who drink faster .. & every time i make sure im the winner ;)

Mummy fix me a giraffe & within a few mins , i showed her another giraffe that i fixed .
1 for me & 1 for ambrose =D

When daddy came back from work , both of us are so happy !
Especially me cos my fun playful dad is back to play with me ;)

When i was small , mummy read books to me almost everyday without fail ! Not just 1 or 2 but quite a few books ..
Now ever since ambrose is born , my shelves of books are collecting dust everyday ;P
Mummy is simply too busy + tired to read to us .
She really wonder & pei-fu those mummies who have more than 1 kid & can still do so many things with their kids !

Anyway , one of mummy's goal is to do reading to us daily .
but haiz ... this goal has yet to kick off !

March is the month !
The month when ambrose achieved 2 milestones =)

We first saw him sitting up on 25th March 2010 . He was then 8 months 8 days old .

& a few days later , on the 30th March ambrose can crawl ! Yippee !
Before he offically crawl , he always tend to push backward or in a circle ..

At 8 months 13 days , ambrose start crawling ;)

His biggest challenge till now is his sleep (-.-)
As he get more & more mobile , it's even harder to make him zzz ..

We are quite a regular at Pasir Ris Park recently . Cos i loves the huge playground there . This swing is one of my favourite . I always play on it first upon reaching .

At 3 yrs 6 months old , i started to use kids toothpaste . Those toothpaste that cannot be swallow . All these while , i'm using First Teeth safe to swallow toothpaste . In fact , daddy think that i should have change it long ago . He had already teached me how to gaggle long times ago ..
Anyway , my teeth are still white & healthy =)
Mummy or daddy always help me brush twice daily without fail .

I'm all excited with my new toothpaste & new toothbrush . Iris ah ma gave me a 'Old MacDonald' musical toothbrush ;)
It's fun & cute ! Even ambrose loves it too . hoohoo

Science Centre

Went Science Centre specially for omni max theatre . Together with xiao-yi ;)

It's ambrose first time to the omni max . We watched 2 shows . Bear & under the sea show .
During the first show , ambrose was sleepy & cranky & daddy had to leave his seat to rock him to Zzzz..
During the second show , daddy left his seat after about 5 mins cos ambrose was fussy . He can't be carry or sit on the lap throughout .. this always happened during church service too .

In conclusion , i enjoyed both show . Am no longer afraid of the big screen . I like the bear show more =)
& i caught my tired xiao yi taking a power short nap during the show .. heehee ;P

It was this trip to the gym that made mummy realised that ambrose can sit up pretty well liao !

Ever since ambrose is born , going out with mummy is always by cab . Cos 2 kids & a pram is too challenging to take a bus . At times when it's possible , we will take a train ..

Mummy bought me a child EZ Link card ;)
I am so happy to have it ! I must have felt like an adult .. to have a personal card to scan ... heehee ;P

Few days before i have my EZ Link card , mummy already bought me an Ice Age EZ Link sticker =) hoohoo .
It's really nice & i simply love it !
A rare find indeed .. cos it's pretty hard to find Ice Age items .

Went with Jireh & family to see dinosaurs ! ('',)

Recently i'm more into dino , ever since i watched the Ice Age 3 show ;)
Just the right time to visit the dino exhibition !

I'm all ready & happy ! Even happier when Jireh come & hold my hand ;P

Okie , it's my favourite high heel shoe ;)
I'm all along a shoe lover ! Specially love shoe shops & can't resist trying those high heel ! Yes , high heel shoes ;) my favourite !
My first high heel shoe was bought for me by beloved ah-ma . On this day , i insisted to wear it out ! Mummy wanna *faint* but she still agree to it at last cos the 'vote' is 2 to 1 ;P hooray daddy .. heehee
Mummy bring along my sandal for me to change knowing it will be a long walk ...

Before coming to Hollywood Dino , mummy heard of a few not so positive comments .. But overall for us , it was quite enjoyable .

'Surviving Skill'

Feeding some fishes before i head to my Sunday School ..

I'm usually in a rush but this particular sunday is different . We were quite late for it & mummy decided to go for the last service as she know i love the Praise & Worship section which is in the beginning part .

I have been attending Sunday School for about 4 months . Always tell my parents that i enjoy & love it ! One fine sunday , mummy decided to sit in my class to see what is it all about .
Mummy did not tell me she's going in & i did not notice that she's inside too ! Even though i ran & walked so close to her a few times ;P

Overall , mummy see that i enjoy myself & can 'survive' inside ;) heehee
'survive' as in , being independent & can take care of myself ..

2 weeks ago , there was this incident in the class that make my parents speechless + surprised + happy ..
A mixture of feeling for them , but overall they are glad that i can 'survive' in the 'wild' .

This is what i told my parents :

'A little girl came to me & said my necklace is very nice ! I said thank you to her .
Then she ask me to give her the necklace . I told her no , it's my necklace .
But this little girl keep on insisting ! Keep asking me to give her my necklace !
Then i shout at her , stop your nonsense !!
& then , she said sorry to me !'

It had been a very long time since i noted down Alexis's growth & development . Beside the joy & laughter , life is really busy & tiring caring for 2 kids ..
Both my kids are not so easy babies , especially their sleeping part (>.<)

Alexis is now 3.5 yrs old . From a difficult baby who always cried & vomitted , who used to stick to me like a glue ... to a very sweet & sensible girl now ! She likes to do things to make us happy , it's like 'we happy , she happy' ;) heehee
Too many incident to note down in details , but all happily stored in our memory .
She loves Ambrose & is a really loving playful sister to him .
Kenneth & i are really blessed & thankful for having such a lovely cute daughter ;)

The easiest part of Alexis is perhaps her eating habits . Ever since young , there's not much problem with her food & milk intake . She loves to drink milk & eat watever i feed her . Now that she's bigger , she got her food preference . But she's still an easy eater =)
I am not a good cook . Or rather , i can't cook at all . I can only cook food for baby ... porridge with all ingredients dump in that type ;P

Till now , i always cook porridge for Alexis during weekdays . Kenneth was saying my porridge is only 'edible' by Alexis ! haahaa ;)
Anyway , i'm really thankful that Alexis is an easy eater =)
I did thought of learning how to be a better cook , but somehow .. cooking is really not my passion ('',) Ooops !

Food & fruits that Alexis commonly eat :
Brown rice , millet , quinos , oats , pasta , eggs , quail eggs , mushroom , carrot , corn , brocolli , spinach , asparagus , brusell sprouts , threadfin fish , cod fish , salmon , beef , drumstick , fishball , wolfberry , wheat germ , yogurt , cheese , strawberry , blueberry , blackberry , raspberry , kiwi , plum , pear , avocado , banana , mango , oranges ..

Alexis is now about 17.3 kg & 107cm tall . She's recently into Ice Age show , specially love the character Diego . Because of Ice Age , she love dinosaurs now . As usual , she loves to play pretend especially with daddy . When it come to play no matter what kind of play , daddy is surely the one she prefers ! She will ask me to look after ambrose while daddy play with her ;P

Alexis is 99.99% daddy's girl ! A very smart girl who know she can be 'more demanding' & 'bolder' when daddy is around . I am the 'bad one' who do the 'scolding & nagging' & to say 'no' to this & that ... This little girl even asked Kenneth once how come mummy always said 'no' & daddy always said 'yes' ! A very good question that make me paused & reflected on all my 'no' to her . Jokingly , Kenneth told me that i'm like the 'Law' & he's the 'Grace' ('',)

Ambrose is now 6 months old ..
When i recalled back the past 6 months , it's kind of 'scary' ! haa ;)
It's really not easy ! Wonder why my 2 kids are both challenger babies , gosh !
And at times , i felt like a walking zombie ! seriously lack of zzz (>.+)

Beside the 'scary' part , Ambrose is really a very fun & smiley baby =)
Specially love to see him laughing out loud whenever he see Alexis playing running jumping around ..

Loves God's plan !!!!
Loves the way he plan Jireh & Alexis to be 1 month apart , Ambrose & Je 'Taime to be 1.5 month apart ! =)

When mummy recalled back , it's like u were just born .. we went to the hospital & saw a baby u ..
Now , u are a pretty 1 year old girl liao ;)

Barney , i miss you ! ;)
It had been a long time since i last brought you out ..

There was a period of times when i was 'very into' Barney , i can't leave home without this Barney soft toy !
My parents are bringing me to catch the Barney show & i decided to bring my Barney along . Hoohoo ;P

We went together with Jireh & Claira =)
Before the show start , Jireh & i rode on this animal boat . It's fun ! I love it !
In fact , i loves any rides that is by driving .
The animal boats are really cute but it will be more fun if the 'pond' is bigger .. more space to drive it around ..

Daddy queued up to get the Barney photo pass for me while we were all having lunch at Pizza Hut ;)
Mummy was very eager to get the pass as she think it's quite a rare opportunity to take a pic & get so close up with Barney ..

Barney really attracted lots of people ! It was so super crowded !
Daddy was not feeling well on this day but he still queued up quite long to be among the first 50 to get the photo pass for me & also bring me in to watch the show while mummy looked after ambrose ..

The songs at the show was familiar to me & i sing & do the actions together with them =)

About 10 mins before the show end , 'kia-su' mummy carrying a very tired ambrose quickly went to queue up in the photo taking queue ! And she was so happy to be the 1st in the queue ;) heehee

An enjoyable evening with aunty Jane =)

Mummy always like to arrange meeting her at T3 . She find that with a kid & baby together , meeting up with friend have to be a kid friendly place too . And T3 is an ideal place ! It's so spacious there with a few playgrounds for me to enjoy , while the adults can sit & chit chat , & there's clean changing room too ;P
Hope that aunty Jane enjoy T3 as much as we do . heehee !

Baby Lucas is coming into this beautiful world soon ;)
We are all looking forward to meet him !!

This is Ambrose at 4 months old =)

He made his very first flip when he is 4 months 8 days old !
Cool ! Ambrose break my record , by just 1 day . Heehee ;P
My first flip was when i was 4 months 9 days old ;)

In the wee hrs when mummy heard ambrose crying over the monitor , she went to find him & was shocked to see him lying on his tummy =)

In the beginning when ambrose know how to flip over , he seems to cannot accept the fact that he can flip !
When he is sleeping & 'accidentally' flip over on his tummy , he will cry out loud !!
This make mummy extremely busy & tired ! Imagine having to attend to him every time he flip , every night !! (-.-)
Super duper tiring for mummy ! haiz..

From the day i'm born till abt 2 years+ , every 28th of the month is a special day ;)
My parent always made it a point to 'celebrate' be it big or small 'celebration' .
Now for ambrose , this kind of 'monthly b'day' excitement & urge to celebrate is not that strong anymore .. that's how mummy think . haahaa ;P

It's not any favourtism case , but maybe it's one of the different between 1st & 2nd child . heehee ('',)

This is ambrose at 5 months old .

He is 9.4kg . Doctor said he is BIG ! & CHUB ! & is on the 97th percentile .
Oops.. mummy forgot wat's his length .. & it's not stated on the health booklet ?? hee ;)

Anyway , this God's little boy is growing strong & healthy , smart & handsome ;P
Praise the Lord for such a lovely brother !

Ambrose is a very smiley baby =)
He can't take his eyes off me & i seem to be his favourite toy !
He will laugh out loud even by just watching me play ;P

He always wear a bib whenever he's awake , cos his saliva is really alot !
It simply flow down non-stop ..

He's now at the stage where everything that he catch hold of will go straight into his mouth ...
He is always very fast to reach out for any object or toy in front of him . & he aim quite accurately too ..

Once ambrose turn 6 months old , mummy will start feeding him food ..
Hopefully , he will be an easy eater like me ! yeah =)

I love going to my sunday school =)
I'm so ready for it now !
The first time i went when i was about 2 yrs , i cried non stop & the teacher had no choice but to call mummy to come & fetch me ...
Now , i look forward to every sunday !
No more crying . Only a happy smiling me who can't wait to wave good-bye to mummy . haa ;P
Mummy used to be very protective of me . But now that i'm getting bigger , she is learning to let go bit by bit .. She knows it's time to prepare me for school & to be more independent .
Mummy is pretty glad & relieved when i'm able to tell her of watever big & small happening in class .. like when a little boy accidentally stepped on my toe & did not apologise to me , i told her that too ! haahaa

Daddy think that it's so cool & he had just bought me a very nice pyjamas specially for this party ! Yippee !

Fun at the Pool !

Daddy & i went swimming !
Or rather , it's call water play . hohoho =)
We went there twice in Nov .

During the first visit , daddy bought me a goggle from the 7/11 store .
I was so excited with the goggle & keep wearing it ;)

The playground facility in the pool is really very fun !
Saw me at the end of the slide ? ;P
Yes , brave little me love playing on this slide even though the water will splash on my face after i slided down ...

It was so fun that i don't want to leave the pool !
Thanks ambrose for your patience , for waiting 3 hours for me ;P

On the 2nd trip there , daddy bought me a doggie float & an anit-fog goggle ;)

Think my doggie float is so cute that it attract alot of attention from many strangers .
One auntie told mummy that 'me & the dog are very cute' ;)

We spend most of the time in the learner pool ..

Daddy show & teach me how to swim ..

I push my doggie & let it float away ..

& then daddy & i will go & chase it back ..

A happy & sad day .. haiz .

Here's how the story goes ..
I went to aunty Ifan's house happily ! I look forward to play with her dog , Beckham ;P
After a sumptuous steamboat dinner , uncle Jeremy specially went to his parent's house to bring back Beckham for me to play with ..
I was so happy chasing catching & hugging Beckham !

& when it was getting late & mummy told me it's about time to go home , i became very sad ..
Was just so super sad that i can't hold back my tears & keep crying (-.-)
Told my parents that i miss Beckham ! & i want to have a REAL dog !!
Seeing me cried in sadness really made my parents heart-pain .. especially my daddy , who even told mummy maybe can consider a puppy for me ;P

Mummy seriously think it's not possible now as caring for 2 kids is already busy busy !
+ 1 dog , i think she will 'faint' ! & moreover , mummy's so afraid of dog .
She knows that i really love dog ! Will review this topic again maybe a few years later if im still so keen ('',)
Will not totally rule out the possibility ..

After buying a new swimsuit for me , mummy can't wait to bring me for waterplay =)
I choose this purple swimsuit . Purple is my very first favourite colour , because of Barney .
Another colour that i like now is green ! Because of Percy & Henry ;)

Our initial plan was to play at Marina Barrage but due to some activity going on there , it was loud & crowded !
Too loud for ambrose baby & too crowded for mummy ;P
Daddy decided to change venue , & we went to J.B Garden instead .
They had replaced the water pump into this green mini water fountain .

At first , mummy thought the new fountain looks quite boring ...
But when daddy came in to play with me , it's super fun ! He has many ways to play with it ..
I was simply laughing & giggling all the way ('',)
Nothing is boring with my creative dad around !

She's a very good teacher , in many areas ...
Overall , mummy think she's really good !
& i'm very happy & comfortable with her as my teacher ..

She's the reason why mummy choose to travel all the way to Funan instead of going to the nearby Hougang branch .
But Oops , we are always late for lesson ! ;P hee..

Sad to say that now , teacher Ginette is no longer teaching at Seimpi ..
& we had just completed & graduated from the MIM class .

Fly Kite , Fly !

We were all ready to go fly kite =)
Aunty Shirley laughed at mummy's super white sport shoe ;P
Ok , indeed a brand new shoe & it's mummy first time wearing .. haahaa

Wherever fun places we went , the 2 babies went along too ;)

But sad to say that ambrose was pretty cranky that day .. haiz .
First , he was hungry . Then after a short while , he was tired ..
Mummy was very busy with him . She even carried a 8kg ambrose & run !
Not easy to keep runnning , it really require some stamina . Even aunty Shirley without carrying ambrose , find it tiring to keep running to get the kite up ...

This is Jireh & my first time flying kites =)
The weather was quite ok that day .. but our kite did not really stay up high . hee ;P
It did went up awhile but just a short short while ..
It is still a really fun & good experience afterall .

Sweet Jireh went to comfort a crying ambrose when mummy left him to cry in the pram . haahaa ;P

Marina Barrage

The weather just after a heavy rain was perfect ! Cloudy & windy !
We headed to Marina Barrage for water play =)
First time there & was impressed with the huge area for water play . Daddy personally prefer this than the one at Jacob Ballas Garden .

Brought along a pail ..
Did not wear my swimsuit cos it's too small for me liao ..
At that time , mummy had yet to buy a new suit for me . In fact , this outgrow swimsuit is the most worth it purchase ! Simply because i wear it for 2 years , ever since i'm about 1 yr old ! ;P heehee

Beach !

In October , i went to the beach twice . It had been a very long time since i last went to beach . In fact , when i was young i don't like sands ! I can't stand the feeling of sands on my feet , & so does mummy . She too , dislike sands & the thought to clean up a 'sandy messy me' always hold her back from bringing me to the beach ..

One sunday evening , we went to the Pasir Ris Park .
We did not know that there's a beach there .. Initial plan was to play at the huge playground but ended up spending more time on the beach ;)

Happy ambrose after finishing his milk =)

Daddy & i walked along the beach ...

Found some sticks & use it to write & draw on the sands ...

Digged into sandcastles left by strangers ...

Walked into the water to feel the waves splashing on my feet ...

Fall in love with the beach after this trip ! ;)
In fact , i finally agreed to leave the beach only when it turned quite dark after the sun had set ...
Daddy said it's a different me now . I'm no longer afraid of 'sandy feet' ;P

Goodbye beach , i will be back !

Knowing that i love beach now , mummy planned a beach outing with sandplay the next saturday !
& this time round , we went together with Jireh & all our sandplay equipments !
We were so super happy upon reaching ! Hoohooho

Jireh & i were so happy that even the way we posed & smiled were so natural ;P

Jireh & i started to pray ..
God is good ! Our prayers were answered =)
God held back the rain at the beach even though some parts of Pasir Ris were already raining ..
The cloudy windy weather was perfect ! & we managed to play for awhile before it started to rain ;)

In fact , there were a few incidence when i attempt to do 'dangerous stunts' & mummy said 'NO' to me . My reply to her was 'it's ok mummy , God is always with me ! God will protect me !'
The first time when mummy heard this , she was like kind of speechless ;P heehee

Okie .. & when we were having fun at the beach , what was ambrose & Je' Taime doing ??
Well , both of them were admiring the natural beauty of the sky & the sea ('',)

Mummy wanted to take a cosmetic on the shelf & as it's too narrow to push the pram through ,
she asked me for help ...

Mummy : 'alexis , help me look after ambrose for awhile k . I'm just going behind this showcase'
I happily replied : 'ok !' =)

Mummy look & choose & take what she want ...
After which , she was surprised to see me standing just next to her !
& when she said me why am i here instead of looking after ambrose ??
My reply was : 'oh mummy , it's ok ! i already asked ambrose to look after himself !' (+.+)

Mummy did not scold or blame me for leaving ambrose alone . Instead , she find it comical & cute by my cheeky words & actions . I'm afterall just a 3yr old kiddie ;)
Mummy shared this incident with daddy when he returned from work & they both had a good laugh !

Je'taime 1st month celebration happened to be on the mooncake festive =)

At 2+ months old , ambrose can sleep through the night .
Rejoice ! & Praise the Lord =)

On the very first night , ambrose slept for 8 hrs straight without waking to drink !
When mummy suddenly wakes during the night & sit up on the bed still dreamy , alot of thoughts came to her mind .. Is she still in dreamland ? When is the last time she fed ambrose ? Is the baby monitor spoilt ? Is ambrose ok & alive ? ....
Mummy quickly went to check on ambrose & there he is , still sleeping soundly ;)
And by the time ambrose wake & cried for milk , it's already in the early morning ..

& from this day on till now , ambrose can sleep between 6-9 hrs straight at night without waking for milk .
Mummy is really happy as this is something she did not expect & also did not experience with me when i was a baby ;P

Ambrose still have problem putting down to sleep & he's a very light sleeper during his bedtime . Whenever mummy leave the room thinking ambrose is already fast asleep , you can hear him crying in less than 3 mins times ! Don't know why but he seem to have a 'build in sensor' which can senses that mummy already left the room ;P
& so , mummy always spend a long time to finally settle him down to sleep without waking !
& when ambrose finally reached dreamland , he will only wake in the early morning for milk =)

Ambrose's favourite past time is to suck his fingers & hand .. he simply love it !
Try removing his hand away & he will likely 'scream' at you ;P

Happy Blessed 2 months old , ambrose =)

Today is also your injection day ;)

& my toy ambrose is going along .. he need an injection too ! heehee

At 2 months old , ambrose is 6.3kg . Length is 61 cm .

Doctor said ambrose is growing well , his size & weight is like a 3 month old baby ;P wow !
Indeed my brother is abit big baby . When i was a baby , i only weigh 6kg at 3 months old . Ambrose is already 6.3kg at 2 months !

His neck muscle is pretty strong =)

Ambrose cried when doctor gave him the injection . But he stopped almost immediately when daddy carried him up .. Well done ambrose ! Brave little boy ;)

After 4 lessons , our beautiful art piece was finally done & was able to bring back home =)

Back at home , i can't wait to show it to daddy & tell my parents the story of my painting ;)
But when they were all ready to hear it , it was just cheeky me telling cheeky story & i was too busy jumping here & there ..
Anyway , daddy & mummy love my art work ! It's really beautiful & my teacher Maria is really amazing . Thumbs up for me & her , yeah ! ;)

My Toy Baby

This is my toy baby . Mummy bought this for me few days before ambrose was born . I had another toy baby but that one is not as fun as this ..
I love this toy baby . I name him 'ambrose' , same name as my brother ;) heehee
When mummy feed ambrose , i will feed my ambrose .
When mummy burp ambrose , i will burp my ambrose too ;P

Sometimes , i even insisted that ambrose must share his blanket with my toy ambrose =) heehee .. cheeky playful me !

Potty Trained !

From September 2009 , I don't need to wear diaper when i'm awake . But still need it for bedtime ..
In fact , mummy did not put in much effort to train me . She finds it very troublesome , even worse when we are outside where most toilets are consider not clean to her ;P
Daddy thinks that i'm very ready to be potty train some times back but mummy only start training me till recently ...
During my potty training times , i don't wear training pants . Mummy cannot imagine if i accidentally pass motion on the pant , how on earth is she going to wash the pant ! (-.+) hee..
& so , everyday as usual i wear my diaper . Every few hrs , mummy want to make it a point to tell me to go to the toilet but ! most of the times , she will forget ...
Overall , she's really glad that i'm already potty trained except bedtime even though her way of training really cannot make it ;P

Recently , aunty Jenny asked me why am i not wearing diaper now ? My reply to her was 'daddy said that i don't need to wear it anymore'
This reply makes mummy think that daddy's verbal way of training is very effective . And also , everytime when i see how Jireh goes to the toilet does help too ;)

Explorer kidz

6th Sept 2009 - My first trip to the Explorer Kidz .
We went past here quite long ago when i was younger & mummy thought i was then too young for these challenging fun ..
Now that i'm bigger , my parent decide to try out this new place for me .
It was simply fun fun fun !! A very big & fun indoor playground !
I'm in love with Explorer Kidz ;)
By the time mummy update this post , i had in fact already went there countless times !

I'm not at all afraid ! Daddy said i'm very brave ;) indeed i'm !

Guess who sat on top of the slide for SOoooo LOnG... just too afraid to slide down !

Je'taime is born !

Happy Birthday aunty Ivy ;)
Happy Birthday Je'taime !

Yup , they have the same birth-date just the different year ;P
Wat a coincidence !

On this exciting day , we did not go to the hospital to see baby Je'taime mainly because daddy was busy till quite late & by the time we wanted to go down , it was already late & aunty Shirley need more rest ...

Mummy was too eager to see how Je'taime look like & so , xiaoyi send 2 pics to her hp ;)
What we saw was , chubby cutie Je'taime who like very much like Jireh when he was a baby =P heehee

The next day was saturday . After our music lesson , we went happily to the hospital =)

This is Ambrose & Je'taime . Ambrose is 7 weeks older .
3 years ago , Jireh & i were born . Jireh is 4 weeks older .
We are like the double twins ;)

In the evening , i requested to go to the Jacob Ballas Garden to climb the tree .
& so , daddy drove us there ;)

After which , we went to Vivo City to have our dinner before heading home ..

My Playhouse

Daddy know that i loves playhouse ! I love to play pretend ;)
He decided to buy a playhouse for me from toy r us . It was selling at $430 .
Was already on the verge of paying when we saw the whole packaging & was told that it was too big to fit into daddy's car to bring back home ...
Delivery charge will be $30 & take 3 working days .
After some discussion , my parent decided to postphone the purchase . Mummy think that $30 delivery charge is quite exp & daddy might have ways for self collection ..
I was ok with their postphone decision , did not make a fuss .
Maybe because daddy promise to buy other toys for me first ;P haahaa
I chose a battery operated toy dog & a horse riding stick ..
This will be my 3rd toy dog . Mummy wanna faint ! But daddy still bought it for me ;)

A week later when we happened to past toy r us shop , we saw this playhouse on sale !
The very same playhouse that daddy intend to buy last week .
It was now having a 40% off selling at just $250 !
My parent were shocked & glad when they saw it ;P
Shocked at the great difference in price & glad that they did not buy it earlier ! heehee .
Thank God for blessing us with such huge savings =)

Daddy installed a doorbell & light for my playhouse . There's even a mini fan bought specially for my playhouse ;)

This is ah-ma & ambrose , 3 days before he turn 1 month old ;)

& ambrose very 1st visit to ah-ma's house was on the 31st Aug .
A bed with clean & new fitted sheet all ready for ambrose to lie & rest .. a small act but tat's how thoughtful my ah-ma is =)
As for me , i'm busy playing with the lots of toys there !

Rashes !

A few days after ambrose turned 1 month old , mummy noticed some rashes on his face ..

At first , it was quite mild .

Until one fine day , it suddenly become so bad !

About 3 days after his 'peak of the rashes' , he was healed !
All thanks to aunty Ifan who gave mummy the cream ;)

Happy Blessed first month , ambrose ! ('',)

These are gifts that were ordered to be given to guests for ambrose's 1st month celebration .

Mummy ordered from 2 different company .
This disney package is special & modern . Very different from those traditional type , especially the choice of food ..

Daddy laughed when he saw this disney card ;P cos he thinks that ambrose was heavily 'make up' & became so 'white' . He was in fact quite tan =) heehee

Overall , mummy is pretty happy with this disney package . She finds it cute & unique !

And this is the traditional package from sweetest moments ..

Ambrose first month celebration was held on the 16th Aug .
Closed friends & relatives were invited ..
Many thanks to all who send their blessing & gifts & taking their precious time off to attend the celebration !
There was even a gift bought with love specially for me by Ysrin jiejie & Edmund korkor ;)

There were 2 of mummy's close friend who are pregnant ! ;P

I love taking pics together with ambrose . In fact most of the time when i saw mummy taking pics for ambrose , i always insist that i want to join in ;)

Cutie ambrose =) that's how i always like to call him .

Mummy is counting down to the end of her confinement period !
She don't like confinement period .. not a single bit !
This time round , she's very satisfield with her confinement food as she ordered catering from natal essentials . No mess no hassle , & it's delicious ('',)

Mummy thought , to stay at home for one whole month is super boring !
& so ... heehee ;P we are all ready to have a fun day out !

My brother is growing strong & healthy , smart & handsome every day .. ;)
He's really an amazing beautiful God's creation !

Beside looking very much like me when i was a baby , ambrose & i have this 'putting down problem' that cause a real headache to mummy !
It's a problem whereby we like to be carry while sleeping & the moment we are being put down on the bed , we will cry out loud !!
For ambrose , this usually occur at night & during the day he's ok . Sounds weird ? but it's true & we wonder why ?? Haiz..
Poor mummy had spend many nights carrying him till daybreak ! And during the day , mummy want to spend times with me & she only has her rest when i'm having my afternoon nap ..
Not easy for mummy taking care of 2 kids , but it's also not impossible ..
In fact years ago , mummy never see herself becoming a stay home mum & with 2 kids somemore ;P
Now , she feels truly bless with 2 beautiful kids - ambrose & me =) yeah !

After a 3 days 2 nites stay at Mt Alvernia hospital , Ambrose's jaundice level dropped to 10 . And he was discharged on this beautiful blessed sunday ('',)

On the 24th July , a blood test showed that Ambrose have very high jaundice at level 21 ! He has to stay immediately in the hospital for photo therapy . The doctor arranged for 4 lights to be shine at him , so as to lower his jaundice level as fast as possible ..

'Get well soon Ambrose , God bless you !' That's what i said when mummy asked me to pray for Ambrose =)

In the late evening , Claira & family came to visit Ambrose . By then , his jaundice level had dropped to 16.5 ;) Yeah , praise the Lord !

The next day on the 25th morning , Ambrose's jaundice level was at 14 .
The doctor said that his progress was good & most likely can be discharge on the next day , 26th July .

Before Ambrose was born , mummy actually plan to celebrate my birthday on this weekend either on the 25th or 26th July at Gymboree !
But everything does not seems to go according to mummy's plan ...
Now with Ambrose hospitalised & mummy in her early confinement period , the final last min decision is to celebrate my birthday at Mount Alvernia ! ;)

This is one of the first few pics taken with Ambrose at home . Daddy was carrying Ambrose & mummy was the photographer .
Ambrose's face was quite puffy during the first few days .. so puffy that mummy thought he has hidden double eyelids ;) but in fact not ...
Ambrose's hair style look very much like daddy's ! There's even a natural parting on the left side .

Look at Ambrose's skin colour ..

Daddy think that Ambrose looked quite yellowish & wondered could he have jaundice ?
And when aunty Jenny came visiting us & commented on Ambrose's yellow skin tone too , they were quite sure he might have jaundice . My parents thus decided to bring forward Ambrose's PD checkup to the 24th instead of 27th July .

Birth of Ambrose !

At 12 midnight , mummy & i surprised daddy with a mini cake & a gift =)

17th July , it's daddy's birthday !
We had an enjoyable time in my cosy room till the wee hour .. we are all 'owls' ;P hoot hoot !

We all went to bed feeling kind of excited .. cos my baby brother is going to be born later in the day , same birth date as daddy =)
During the last gynae check-up , my parents had decided on an induce labour on the EDD . Mainly because , my brother is already full term & quite heavy at abt 3.5kg . Another reason was that mummy don't like surprises such as waterbag burst or sudden contraction .. She prefer to have a date to check into the hospital & get herself all ready !

My parents left for the hospital early in the morning & ah-ma came to my house to look after me . We went to aunty Shirley's house for lunch & playtime with Jireh ..
Mummy wanna thanks them for taking such good care of me while she's away in the hospital ;)
Throughout the day , everyone was looking forward to the news of the birth of my baby brother , Ambrose !

Finally in the evening at 6+pm , baby Ambrose is born ('',)

Mummy had a normal delivery with epidural . She managed to push my baby brother out using abt 6 pushes , something she's proud & surprise of .. cos when she delivered me 3 years back , she spend abt 1 hr pushing but still unsuccessful . I was finally born with the help of forceps .

Hello Ambrose , i'm ur sister Alexis =)

We all went to the hospital after knowing the good news even though it's past visting hours ;P heehee

Upon reaching , we were told that mummy was still in the labour ward under observation due to excessive bleeding .
After the delivered of Ambrose , mummy feel so unwell .. She vomitted , her whole body keep shivering due to the epidural's side effect + excessive bleeding .

After abt 4 hours under observation , mummy came out from the labour ward safe & sound . God is good , PTL ! Thanks for all those who had prayed for mummy ('',)

When i first saw mummy lying on the bed being pushed out from the labour ward , i looked worried & was near to my tears ! I asked aunty Jenny whether is my mummy sick ??
My reaction was rather surprising .. aunty Jenny commented that i'm such a sweet & sensible girl ;) heehee
